For the last several days I've been staying with friends in the in Red Feathers (50 miles northwest of Fort Collins). There are some 14 lakes in the area with 6 open to the public for trout fishing. We fished the private water and the action was exceptional. My best results were on CJ (Copper John) Streamer tied on a size 8 TMC 200R hook.
