Colorado Cast and Blast

After a long morning of hunting on the Western Slope , the olny thing we could come up with was a Huge Pike!
The hunting was pretty slow. Make sure to bring your fishing gear along on your next hunting trip. It can make up a slow day.

Yampa River

The Yampa River fished pretty good the other day. The highlight of the trip was Shannon Small landing her very first trout on a fly rod! This may have turned her into the newest fishing junkie to join the tribe.

We saw Caddis, trico's, and HOPPERS!!!! And the streamer fishing was pretty dang good in the evening.

Rumor??

I heard a rumor from one of our customers that the Blue was fishing good. Matt Sanderson and myself geared up and headed out. Rumor turned out to be true! Got a good number of healthy browns and bows. The hot flies were a BTS Mysis #16 and a pandamic BWO #18.
