Extraordinary Rainbows on the Kenai River in Alaska

Had to share this with those who chase big fish.  Terry Escamilla sent me this picture today of Dave Wilson, guide holding the fish, and a client with a rainbow taped at 40 x 22 on the Kenai River this weekend.  Its the biggest rainbow Dave has seen in 11 years of guiding on the river.

The Rainbow was caught on an 10mm bead...."Dave was using the same gear that we were the weekend before."  Caught just below the Naptown rapids near BFH (Big Fish Hole).

Landing a fish this size is a feat in itself!
